The big push is for the November mid-term election. The simple minded will think that because the republicans have gained seats all is well. Quite the contrary the leftist news media is still well in place. The courts are packed with liberals making up laws as they go. Academia and the entertainment industry are solidly to the left. Our Constitution is under attack and steadily losing its significance. Our system of government has been so badly compromised with imbedded socialists willing to do anything to justify their obtuse reasoning for existing that it will take decades to ferret them out and undo the damage. However time is a luxury we do not have. There will be more Obamas to carry the torch of the left and further damage this country as we slide deeper into a government dependent uneducated society. There is no option left but for each state to opt out. Like an eaglet peering down from its nest high above the forest floor, it's time Virginians to learn to fly on your own.

Kudos to Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli for challenging the Feds on illegal aliens. If all the states would do the same the message would be heard loud and clear in DC. Unfortunately this is wishful thinking, as they hold the purse strings and will demand subservience from every state in the Union.

Bob: If anyone can, especially a liberal socialist can point to any clause in the Constitution that grants ANY immigration authority to the federal government, please do so. In th meantime I will listen to the crickets. They can't. Let's look for information in the Constitution that tells us who is in charge of immigration.There is and its found in Article 1, Section 9. "states... shall think proper to admit". Let's see. There is no grant of power over immigration to the feds and the ONLY clause in the Constitution that even hints at immigration and emigration states "states...shall think proper to admit". Maybe, just maybe, the STATES RETAINED immigration power.
With that being said, what if, 20 million Americans decided not to file or pay taxes would it create "significant and counterproductive burdens on federal agencies"
What if a state, Arizona perhaps or Va., set up an escrow acount and had the citizens remit their federal taxes to that acount until the Federal Government either enforced immigration law or dropped the forceible purchase of insurance?
I think that the time has come that if we are no longer receiving the government services our taxes pay for,including its own laws then why pay?

The Governors in the states sueing the federal government over illegal immigration must begin meeting to focus their strategy. Clearly the federal government will not enforce the law and this is only the tip of the iceberg, there will be more cases to come. The Feds in a kneejerk reaction will attempt to bribe the states with cash for independence.
Before we re-live the tragedy of the RMS Titanic we must discuss petitioning our legislators to begin the process of Virginians going their separate way. Like the lost Passenger Liner, there are only so many lifeboats available to us, and precious little time before we meet a very grim end.
One thing positive from the MSM Keith Obldouch is no longer to be on Sunday Night Football. Surely the ratings will increase say maybe a point at least.

There is no end to the woes from what was once our nation's capital. Now it's a collection of corruption. In November the Republicans return and a whole lot of nothing will happen. People will tire of them and back in comes the big social spending Democrats. Does it all end with a revolution, bankruptcy, or secession by the states.
One thing most people seem to forget when they bring the Constitution into the debate is that the founding fathers KNEW that it would not survive the test of time as it then was. They not only stated so many times, the included in it a means to modify, change and let it grow with the times. Just as we find the founding fathers ideas on who should vote, to be abhorrent, many other things have changed that they could never have imagined. VIVA la change. Oh, we can always change things back, when they do not stand the test of time, as we did with Prohibition.

Our Constitution has been under attack by someone or the other, since the day it was originally signed. It has survived, with some changes, as the founding fathers planned. And, it will continue to survive. The Constitution is not some dead piece of paper, it is the living, breathing, changing, growing, heart of America.
Republicans have not won seats in the November elections yet, and will not unless people get out and vote, so please go vote the candidates of your choice. By the way, how much will taxes go up, to provide the manpower and equipment power to remove twelve million illegal immigrants?
