BFF CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

BE  FIGHT  FREE  may have originated right here in Suffolk but from wherever it came the idea makes complete sense because it can quickly ostracize those that refuse to participate. The usual ignorant school bully would be targeted, avoided and scorned. Potential serious troublemakers would be spotlighted immediately and carefully observed by authorities. Kids can fool parents but not kids. The concept is marvelous, kids are joiners and loyal to a commitment. Girls by nature should take the lead and stick with it as it can and must work. Authorities and mom and dad have lectured on the benefits of being good citizens for decades. Imagine how it could be if kids took over the responsibility of being fight free. If they are successful the world could also be FRIGHT free.The Be Fight Free rally is the beginning of a trial balloon at each Suffolk high school. I’d only suggest they start much earlier in a child’s school life.

Yet another classic example of social engineering at it's best. Today on cable news we hear of schools selling drug test kits to parents so they can test their children. We hear of private investigators being hired by parents to shadow their children in and out of school and report back. Now teachers want to be able to carry concealed weapons into the classroom. What ever happened to schools being a place of learning?????

Could we be confusing what is a bully? Is there an objective definition of a bully, or will that be a subjective matter left to a liberal minded guidance councilor or Principal scared of losing their job? Our Society needs children that are aggressive with a measure of leadership. Some of them grow up to become business leaders, politicians and military officers. Since this country was founded we survived many hardships in school, we took our licks gave a few back and settled our disputes. The concept of Be Fight Free is not a realitic approach. It is contrary to human nature and doomed to failure except in the mind of the Liberal. Watch for this social engineering program to become a new line item in the school budget. It correctly should be called Playground Alternative Negotiations for Suffolk Youth (PANSY).

Based only on past experience and current classroom discipline I'd gamble it could work if teachers keep hands off, authorities don't make it official, and parents stifle suggestions about how they would go about it. Worth a shot if left to kids. And if the effort dies a natural death the kids are no worse off.

Pock do you honestly believe that in the government school systems such programs will be left entirely to the kids? This is Fairy tales and Pixy Dust.

Menawhile students in an elementary scoll perform sex actrs in front of a teacher who did nothing to stop it. Meanwhile a kid who used his finger in the style of a gun and goes bang bang towards other students and gets suspended. The kids arent the problem. Its the liberal "adults" who run them and teach in them. So I guess now that when fingers are outlawed, only outlaws will have fingers????

Lets not forget those wonderful television programs for young teenagers portraying role models like in Glee and now Skins all advocating sex, homsesuality and drug use. Glee won several Golden Globe awards recently. Are we missing something here.

Children need adult leadership, guidance and discipline. These traits cannot be found nor will be respected among their peers. At best the BFF program will help a few embellish their high school credentials when they apply for college.

That's enough time talking nonsense, let's get back to the books and study. Remember children in China are no longer starving, but you will soon unless we pay back 14.3 trillion dollars.

What about those loners that have been jeered,ignored, excluded, Who is going to put an arm around that child and befriend him or her. The already good kids have no problem being "good." Are they to approach the "bad guys? "Loners have been ostracised and need help rejoining. Someone with adult sense must advise them so as not to leave any potential out of the picture.

We often lay the blame on parents and of course they are often the problem.But a bigger one is that schools are not in sync with near adult students. Time is wasted letting kids out of school at two pm. Teachers have jerked the public around to the point that class size, amount of hours in class, and quality of teachers overall are sub par. And no one has the guts to change it. School boards are a joke.

You left out the Department of Education,useless because they dictate to the states that given choices might create a better system.

This idea of Be Fight Free appears to go well with Suffolk's new program named 757 Protege Program. This is where community minded citizens agree to donate regular time to mentoring a young person that will appreciate adult guidance. This is a program where we can score bigtime.

Community minded citizens means impressing socialized methods of thinking and voting into the still developing minds of children. Come on let's get back to basics, responsibility belongs with the parents and impart values to their children. There is no "score bigtime" unless you endorse liberal indoctrination at the crib and classroom. Stop the BS please, we can no longer afford it. If you want examples in history where this was attempted look at pre-war Germany, post war China and Cambodia's Pol Pot indoctrination- brain washing of children.

The phrase; Score bigtime in the SPS has a different meaning between the parents and children. Junior Achievement is a great program for students to learn how to establish and manage a business. More than one group in my school ran a business and there was healthy competition. At the end of the year we had a party and some of the proceeds was reinvested to finance the program the next year. Hmmmm, wonder if it exists anywhere in HR, or if the SPS would consider such a program as they do BFF, because it teaches capitalism, team work and responsibility. Three words that community minded citizens like our president in Washington discourage.

How long will it be before our schools will follow suit the way of the British schools and learn about:
Maths — teaching statistics through census findings about the number of homosexuals in the population, and using gay characters in scenarios for maths problems;
Design and technology — encouraging pupils to make symbols linked to the gay rights movement;
Science – studying animal species where the male takes a leading role in raising young, such as emperor penguins and sea horses, and staging class discussions on different family structures, including same-sex parents;
Geography — examining the transformation of San Francisco’s Castro district in the 1960s from a working-class Irish area to the world’s first “gay neighbourhood”, and considering why homosexuals move from the countryside to cities;
Languages — using gay characters in role play scenarios, and teaching “LGBT vocabulary”.
The lesson plans, written by teachers and backed by the Department for Education, will be available for schools to download from the Schools Out website.
For younger children, the plans will suggest using images of same sex couples and also promoting books such as “And Tango Makes Three”, which is about two male penguins raising a young chick, inspired by actual events at New York’s Central Park Zoo.

So it will matter when Sue buys three apples for $3.50 cents, the child is suppose to stop to wonder whether Sue was straight, bisexual or a lesbian?
Oh the class bully is going to love these studies...

Are there are no winners or losers in the Suffolk Public Schools. Does everyone get an award and achievement is flatlined so that no one's feelings are hurt. Why should the students take responsibility for their actions, when it can be someone else's fault. BFF follows this perverse way of thinking and is being encouraged. God help us when they become adult members of our society.
