TIME FOR HOPE AND CHANGE IN RIVER CITY

Enough comments have been made describing America as it exists under the protective umbrella of the Obama Administration and a too liberal congress. So the emphasis of InsideSuffolk will return to matters that only affect Suffolk and it’s citizens. It has become far too easy to point out defects in our Federal Government and flaws in our governing bodies and individuals that steer our course through the maze they have created. We are sure that most intelligent voters now are concentrating on how to salvage the great nation we were a few months ago before the insane spending took place up in Washington. In November we will have a chance to restock the shelves with men and women whose duty will be to serve the people. Slamming Obama and his cohorts can now be left to the expertise of talk show hosts and conservative newspapers, more of which appear to be catching on to the fact our nation is in deep trouble. Let us spend more time finding ways to upgrade our local boards and government. Suffolk elections might just be the answer.

Thank our stars we have the Suffolk News Herald's conservative take on matters concerning the city. Without the talented editor who can't find anything in town without the aid of a GPS or the reporter that doesn't know what the light green powder on their cars is in the springtime we would be lost. I would keep the option open to bash away at this pathetic excuse for a man some call the President. He and his cronies will continue to be a wealth material to comment upon. In the meantime there are bigger fish to fry right here in Suffolk.

It was ok when IS invited the commentary. There isnt much discoure printed by the SNH. But when the IS folks want to get involved they do, when they support one of their own or they decide to throw their support behind one of their favorites, they do what Obama is attempting to do. Censor or restrict commentary that questions that person or brings up history of being associated with the good old boy network. I guess the IS folks are caving in to the likes of the liberals, progressives and the NAACP? Shades of the SNH maybe. Yes there are bigger fish to fry,but the heat wont be turned up.
Wow, Lindsay Lohan got 90 days. Is there any local story that could be maybe related to why some locally are not in jail or going to jail?

We at IS wonder why the above anon writer hangs around. It is not the first time he has found fault with what we do. That's OK, we can suffer complaint but why is he so fascinated with what we publish? He mentions some infraction by the Good Old Boy network and should go to the police with the matter. Surely they will listen.

The point is is not finding fault. The point is that it appears that you cant handle complaint.
Well King, looks like this case is closed. No other commentary is needed pro or con

Failing to provide commentary on national news under the current circumstances is to ignore the huge gash on the hull of the RMS Titanic. Some may not like the tone or the content but as long as it's not vulgar or liabelous it should be allowed.

Pock, why do you flatter your critics by explaining to them when they make anonymous attacks. The first time something goes wrong in their lives, they'll be joining in with IS to demand satisfaction of their "wrong." IS doesn't have to prove anything, and no one can challenge your charter on contribution to our community and country.

My guess is that the same folks who complained and ran off some SNH folks are now some of the same folks complaining directly to the folks at IS. And now that they are endorsing one of their own in a political event the pressure is building from outside.
I seem to think that this has taken place before when two closely realted folks at IS stepped into the political arena. It didnt turn out good then and I doubt it will now. You would think that maybe they would have learned something then about the "movers and shakers" of the city. No matter what, who or why, the lady from IS will GET my vote and that can be counted on, not like those who say if you do this or if you dont do this privately as to attempt to influence their blog contents.

A sixteen year old burns down three houses including his own and gets two to four years of juvenile detention, 19 years suspended sentance and must pay 1 million in restitution. The last part is a non-event no money is coming to anyone that their own insurance doesn't cover. That is a joke and an insult to the victims. According to the defending attorney they rave about this fine example at the detention center. What about the victims, their loss of personal property and let's not forget the two dead cats. What do they do to get their lives in order? How much will it cost them in money, sweat and tears to rebuild their lives? Whenever he gets out this young man may find a career and a future but he better not ever show his face again in Suffolk.

Arizona ground zero in the battle between illegal immigrants and the Obama Administration. This is also widely known as "Alien verses Predator" coming to a Federal Courthouse near you.

Racism once again rears its frivilous head. We've now reached the point in America where every living, breathing organism, person, edifice, thought, gesture and eye blink is officially racist.
Thank goodness we're living in Obama's post-racial utopia.

NAACP are idiots andstill hve no concpt of history. I tell you what.Maybe we should start expressing our pride in being racists. If the Liberals want to name everybody who disagrees with them as Racist, then Racism is a fine and noble thing.
The NAACP is a waste of attention, and has been for a while now.It basically boils down to a tea party that is increasing in political influence versus the NAACP which is decreasing in influence. The NAACP members see that they are no longer as influential as before and are trying anything they can to change that.No mastter how radical their statments are. Perhaps the NAACP should get back to being a National Association that is Advancing “Colored People“

The mission of ther NAACP has been steadily diluted over the decades. The struggle was unofficialy over with the election of Barack Obama. But because of indoctrination, academia, media bias and politics our country continues to over compensate Blacks in education, employment, housing, laws and a multitude of programs. No country since the days of South Africa's P.W. Botha has so favored one race over another.

The Horizon Drilling rig was under contract to BP right?
BP is responsible for the disaster right?
Was the Annointed One on the deck supervising the drilling operation? NO
BP and other experts in the drilling industry capped the hole right?
Why is Skippy our rock star coughpresident cough saying "WE" when speaking of the sucess of BP's efforts? as usual. The usual Oneness with himself. I apologize I forgot that Obama took responsbility for the disaster, he said it was the last thing he thought about at night and the first thing in the morning when he woke up.
Were it not for skin color, Skippy Barrack Obama would be pushing a shopping cart on any street in America looking for cans.
