IT IS TIME YOU HEARD THIS

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling? We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth, 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia. HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy.....WHY? James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post. Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists? Got your attention/ire up yet? Hope so! . http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=1911

what do they think will happen if one to two trillion barrels of oil is pumped out from under the rocky mountains? we'll have the rocky mountain hills? our national natural treasure would be lost forever. no place to ski. no waterfalls and canyons to enjoy. no white water rapids to paddle down. sports teams will have to change their logos. mountain goats will have to assume the embarassing name of hill goats. beer will never taste the same again. please america do not deflate our precious mountains, freeze this winter, do without or go into deep financial debt. we don't care.

You would think that with all of the wisdom that our Congress has, they could come up with a solution that would be a winner for America. How about allowing the oil companies to drill for this oil and all future oil formations that are found on our soil, but set the limit on what they will receive per barrel. Maybe $55. Also lay down the environmental rules as to the recovery of the lands when the oil companies leave. Ever seen the mess that has been left behind in Texas after the wells have dried up? Oh, I'm sorry, our Congress doesn't have wisdom.

Enviro MENTAL list are the reason we cant go after oil. I could cause harm to a worm or other animal. How do you feel abt the Chinese drilling off our coast? How bout their buying into 40% of the Oil and Tar Shale in Fort Dodge Alberta Canada? You been to Panama? They have literally taken over the country of Panama. Naval bases, off shore oil production bases. They are running the canal. Streets signs in Chinese. Wake up, it time to look out after us. BP has found a field in the Gulf of Mexico and Obama says no, but we need to stop being dependent on oil
from the towel heads, Chavaz,Africa, Russia and yes even Canada who was our largest supplier. We havent built a refinery in almost 50 years. Why? You think its some kind of conspiracy?

Obama doesn't want a recovery quite the contrary. He intends to push the envalope all the way to a full fledged (gov. managed) depression. Under the right circumstances he could impose restrictions to control the population, media, internet and function of government. As your friends and relatives anywhere in the country and they will say the same thing. No credit available from banks, a real estate/construction slump, retail sales are down and unemployment up.

Why you boys on here always so doen on President Obama? He is doing best for us all and he is our savior. HE will lead us to land of honey and where wealth is shared not taken by selfish people like now. We need to support President Obama in all he does for us and for our child.

Get it right and support our land of Obama.

This issue is far too important to let Obama decide all by himself. Making decisions doesn't come easily to him. He could reach out to his many Csars, or the Department of Interior or even Congress. He should reach out across party lines to a Republican with the knowledge, experience and communications skills that gets thingss done Charles Brown.

Obmama idea of coming up with an answer he finds in his Magic Black 8 Ball when he figures out to how to turn it over. He still says present until someone tells him what to say and do...he is a puppet

Pock:A nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America’s consumption and security needs. Not at 50% but only 25%. The vice president’s extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. “Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.”
Barry and Plugs have no clue as to national security.
