Roger Leonard, now an employee of the Federal Government ,  must resign from the "IS" team. We will miss his clarity and ability to state his position clearly.

I talked with Roger the other day and he told me he is also moving out of the area or already had. I wish him well and would ask all to recognize he has done much to open ideas in this small town. I have not always agreed with him, but he always was a gentleman and a thinker. Sorry to see him go. We need all the smart people we can get in this town, given where we seem to be headed.

Lets hope he helps those that recognize his talent. Suffolk is adrift in the midst of a storm without a capable captain, engine, sail or anchor.

what does being a federal employee have to do with Mr. Leonard not being able to participate with IS?

George Mears is also a federal employees but he continues to contribute frequently to IS.

Different jobs, different circumstances.

If there is a man or woman in Suffolk that would like to serve on the "IS" team we would like to hear from you. We welcome individuals willing to bring up subjects of interest and defend them if they would bring positive change. Contact any current team member.

Going to miss you Roger. Hopefully you will provide insight and commentary over at the SNH.If you are moving out of the area and you are still paying taxes on property, then I feel you still have the right to voice an opinion on how tax dollars are being spent and or comment on any other topic affecting the city of so called open and transparent policies of this present and future "public servants" elected or appointed.
