12/7/41 ALL BUT FORGOTTEN
A short battle between a handful of the Colonialists and a small company of England's best earned the name Lexington and Concord took place in what was to become the United States. In 1941 an island off the coast of the United States was overwhelmed by aircraft from Japanese carriers. They named the battle Pearl Harbor. Both of those historic "declarations of war" are all but forgotten. Both battles led to major changes in our world. 1942 in America sixteen million joined the military from a population of 140 million. Almost all those who lived then are gone and death has taken all but nine percent of those who put on uniforms. You won't hear taps played in our cemeteries today but all of us should remember events that shaped the life and freedom we enjoy today.

A wonderful sentiment. We should be proud of all soldiers not only all day on this memorial day but also all night when we are at home, secure with our loved ones thanks to those soldiers.
Remember those who served in WW2 and if you know one, honor them and thank them this day for they are fast leaving this world.Thank all of them you know. Thank you Robert Pocklington
Si vis pacem, para bellum
If you wish for peace, prepare for war
This is a lesson lost on the traitors in power today as they cut our defenses - as our enemies expand their spending on their military and naval power.
The real question is when we will be at war with our own government. With the way things are now run in the USA, I fear our government and what they are doing to ruin our country. Just look around and you will understand what I speak of.
Remember this bold statement:
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
The following is verbiage found in a report from the U.S. Army War College regarding marshall law:
…unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters are all paths to disruptive domestic shock.....purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency,...."
When Katrina took place the MSM faile to report to the public as to have more fuel to destroy Bush and liberal moonbats such as the mayor of New Orleans, the Govenor of the state failed to ask for federal assistance in the evacution. Bush by law could not just send in troops because of a Federal Law called Posse Comitatus Act —which limits deployment of the US military at home.
Defense Robert Gates under orders from the Socialist Obama has gone before Congress asking for the unprecedented authority to base 400,000 soldiers in communities all across the United States.
The National Civilian Community Corps is what Obama has named his personal army.Nowhere have these two spheres of a military as we know it and the use of "domestic" army (Nazai youth) ever been combined that tyranny has not resulted.
Czars govern in the place of elected officials. Key private sector companies are now under the direct control of the President.
The President has even proven willing to use healthcare reform to target the elderly, recasting human life in terms of the collective good. The White House has even urged fellow citizens to inform on opponents of Obama’s healthcare bill. In this environment, the prospect of martial law doesn’t sound that far-fetched or becoming a reality.
Now to explain in part why Obama and the liberals didnt want to lose control of the congress.By losing the congress, he lost the ability to abolish the Posse Comitatus Act can have the ability to issue an Executive Order to enact marshall law.Anon 8:33 brought up a valuable talking point and it is something that needs to be understood that Obama will take any path he can to turn this country into a socialist state.
