THE PRESIDENT IS A GREAT GUY
Let's be clear" on this as POTUS always reads to us from his teleprompter: OBAMA did NOT kill Bin Laden. An American sailor, who Obama just a few weeks ago was debating on whether or not to PAY, did. In fact, if you remember a little less than two years ago, his administration actually charged and attempted to court marshall 3 Navy Seals from Seal Team when a terrorist suspect they captured, complained they had punched him during the take down and bloodied his nose. His administration further commented how brutal they were. The left were calling them Nazi's and Baby Killers. Now all of a sudden the very brave men they vilified, are now heros when they make his administration look good in the eyes of the public. Obama just happened to be the one in office when the CIA finally found the b...... and our sailors took him out. Essentially, Obama only gave an answer. Yes or No, to him being taken out. It NOT an Obama victory, but an AMERICAN victory!! Forward on IF YOU AGREE " Ed Schriber Col. USMC (Ret.) "Semper Fi". An when will someone be prosecuted for releasing all the Top Secret details to the Media? Whatever happened to using actionable intelligence before releasing it to the public? Or is the real mission propping up POTUS' political image regardless of degrading operational capabilities, compromising opportunities to take down more terrorist networks, or risking servicemen and women's lives?

The administration did not bring charges against he seals, the navy did after other members of the seal team complained about their action. They were found not guilty,again the administration had nothing to do with this ,it was a Navy matter.Show me one place where the administration said how brutal it was. Had Obama not acted on the information of OBL's whereabouts you can imagine the repercussions on his administration and re-election prospects. The information on OBL was known for at least six months in many government offices. BHO had no option but to DRT OBL PDQ before CNN FOX MSNBC CBS ABC and NBC got the LD.
Whoa, lets imagine if you would that if Bush had been successful in taking out OBL.(he sent in two different times the Seals to get OBL and they failed in their attempt. Also the Pakistan govt gave him permission to make these military insertaions possible, but we see now that they appear to have been tipping OBL off)
Now back to the point The headline would have been "Bush Denies OBL his right to a fair trial. Dems demand impeachment and indictment for murder." Followed by "Dems introduce bill to deny 'orders' defense to Navy SEAL Team." Not long after, "Dems demand turning SEAL Team over to the ICC for prosecution."
Assassination missions are still illegal as President Ford's executive order prohibiting them has not been rescinded, it was ignored by Obama.
Meanwhile Holder is still going after the CIA over 'torture" (waterboarding). Obama was asked by an attorney who's family was a victim of 9-11 to drop all investigation and possible criminal charges. Obama told her that he couldnt order Holder to do that per the Constitution.Isn't it funny Obama hides behind the Constitution when it's convenient but shreds it at his whim.
Granted OBL was met by his 72 virgins. Hopefully they all looked like Helen Thomas or they were trannies. What we got were 72 versions of what took place.
What has actually happened is Obama took out OBL which is good for us a country,however in doing so he has pissed off the muslim world. So to appease them, he serves up Israel
The question is did Obama delay in taking out OBL for political reasons? The question of delay is almost as dumb as What time does the 5 o'clock train leave? Obama has a solid record of manipulation and making everything political, irrespective of whether or not a normal person would. Some things such as taking out Bin Laden are so important, so necessary for the good of the country that they should rise above politics. That, however, is too much to ask of the Ditherer in Chief. From all that I have read, I am convinced that any permission for the raid by Obama was drawn out of him, maybe even with the threat of news leaking out that Obama knew where Bin Laden was and failed to go after him. Any claim of heroics on Obama's part is a mile wide and mere millimeters deep. It appears that we can discount any spin that Obama acted in the best interests of America. Looking back over his record, I cannot think of a single thing Obama has done which is truely good for America.Other than seeing that the Somali pirates met their 72 virgins. Everything he has done has hurt America even in ways we might not even be aware of yet. I need a little help here, commenters. Can anyone think of anything Obama has done that has actually been good for the USA short of getting the opposition off their duffs? Everything Obama does is for political reasons. That's all he knows and all he will ever do.

One other side note, Did you actually enjoy the cheerleading of Geraldo on national tv? It in my opinion was a national disgrace. (CBN) — During his remarks to troops at Fort Drum today, the President was reminiscing about the times he has spent with the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division, when he got something wrong.
“Throughout my service, first as a senator and then as a presidential candidate and then as a President, I’ve always run into you guys. And for some reason it’s always in some rough spots.
First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.”
The problem is, Jared Monti was killed in action in Afghanistan, on June 21, 2006. He was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously, September 17, 2009. President Obama handed the framed medal to his parents, Paul and Janet Monti. He and the First Lady comforted them in the Oval Office following the ceremony.
I contacted the White House to see what happened. I’m told the President didn’t have prepared remarks.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, “At Fort Drum, the President misspoke when discussing the first Medal of Honor he presented posthumously to Jared Monti, who was a member of the 10th Mountain Division. The President paid tribute to Monti in his remarks to troops in Afghanistan in March 2010. Last year, the President presented the Medal of Honor to Salvatore Giunta, who was the first living recipient of the Medal who served in Afghanistan.”
The gaffe comes one day after the President announced his plan to bring troops home from Afghanistan at a faster pace. He deliberately spoke at Fort Drum because of the 10th Mountain Division’s multiple deployments to Afghanistan.

With the first wonkie still on travel with the girls, the girls he ries about not spending enough time with, President Obama today went golfing for the second time this weekend, an outing that also puts him at the three quarter century mark for total trips to the golf course as president.
Obama’s 75 times golfing since Inauguration Day includes 17 outings just this year. He made it thirteen weekends in a row Saturday with a trip out to the Andrews Air Force Base course.
The president today is at the Fort Belvoir couse, taking along a couple of his usual crew of younger staffers but also White House Chief of Staff William Daley. He cares so much about our military when do you think that they will get to play when he books in the course?

I am re-watching the miniseries John Adams. It is a wonderful glimpse into how we became the great republic that we are. It shows us how blessed we are to have had great men who thought so clearly when drafting the Declaration of Independence. They as you said, showed great courage as well as remarkable intellect.
The main stream media would have you to believe that Barack Obama is the smartest man to occupy the White House. Without a doubt this is hogwash of the highest order. Obama could not hold a candle to our Founding Fathers because in addition to having great intellect they were very wise. Wisdom comes from not only intellect but from logical reasoning and experience. Obama has neither.
Obama in several speeches lately he uses the words ""inalienable rights".When delivering his inaugural address, Obama said that that "all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness." Obama left out not only "Creator" but also "life." It was a quite statement for his first presidential statement.Obama Obama and his adminstration are shredding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and instead of inalienable rights coming from the Creator/God, he thinks they come from goverment. Obama and liberals think that they know more than Jefferson and the Founding Fathers and they were wrong when they formed what use to be called our republic.
On this Independence Day we need to think long and hard at what kind of a country we want to leave our children. As for me, I will not accept Obama's view of America and will oppose his radical transformation and destruction of all that I believe in.

My deceased brother Tim Eckert was in both ST2 and ST6 before leaving the Navy and working as a “contractor” for perhaps the CIA, or maybe the Navy still. We’ll likely never know. We used him up and left him alone to deal with his PTSD, as he was trained to never talk with anyone about what happened in operations, as it would be a violation of National Security. He was even told that he could not discuss these things with counselors at the VA. He is dead because of this lack of care. 4. Keep lying: “Administration court-martialed seals....” Nope, Navy did, at the request of other SEALs
5. Keep lying: “the left are calling them Nazis and baby killers” ummm, “the left”? who the hell is that exactly?
6. Tell a truth and call to action: “not an Obama victory.... an American victory” yes, duh, then “Forward if you agree” I agree, so should I forward, even if the rest is mostly propaganda and lying?
7. Then add some false quotes and attribute to Obama:
a. “Cheney’s assassination Team” Keith Oberman said this, not Obama. Oberman is another nut case entertainer, like Limbaugh. Ignore him. I wish we could arrest them both and cut out their tongues. But, fortunately for them, I’m an American, and I understand the net value of freedom of speech.
b. “I created Seal Team 6” responsible researchers have tried to find any such quote. They have never succeeded. I guess that is a left wing conspiracy to somehow hide any info that could prove the quote... yah, sure.
c. “Bin Laden is innocent until proven guilty” Obama never said it. Here’s a quote from the presidential debates, Obama: “If we have Osama bin Laden in our sights and the Pakistani government is unable or unwilling to take them out, then I think that we have to act, and we will take them out," Obama said. "We will kill bin Laden. We will crush al-Qaida. That has to be our biggest national security priority."
d. “I authorized ST6 To kill Bin Laden” while the phrasing is not correct, this is true. And good. Why would anyone (any American) have a problem with that?
e. “Gitmo is unnecessary” Grain of truth here, he wanted to close it in the election... has broken his promise to do so. But he never actually said “it was unnecessary” or, “detainees should not be interrogated” he wanted to end the use of torture. Again, propaganda pushing the truth into the background.
f. “Vital intelligence obtained from Gitmo” while this is likely true, no record of Obama saying it exists.
So, Ed Schreiber, if he exists and wrote the e-mail below, is a liar and propagandist, and is a threat to our freedom. He is a threat to America.
