They had to print that there is another budget meeting at City Hall but they needn’t. They can’t believe any sane person will make another useless trip, and I’ve heard enough of the dialogue to know it’s over over there. Councilman Duman attempted to wedge in a suggestion at the last budget meeting and got his face slapped. You must remember this…at least five on the dais know what is best for you and the city. Remember a year or so back when using the term “North Suffolk was a no-no? Well now it is acceptable to say that our City Hall is "dilapidated." Go if it makes you feel patriotic but the Suffolk City Council will meet tonight to approve the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Period, end of discussion.

To give in to a budget increase without requesting the City Manager produce a zero increase budget is a public dis-service. To vote for a budget without having a firm grip on the budget and a review of the process is another dis-service. It would be wise of neophyte Councilman Duman to vote No and tell them why before he does so. Mike put your thoughts on the record and stand by the campaign platform you ran on. Let the others use their weasel words and try to explain their vote. Bet it will be a close vote with Barclay and Bennett also voting no. That leave the last holdout running for office in 2012 Mayor Linda Johnson with the deciding vote.
After defending these clowns for years, no more. This council raising taxes in this time makes a mockery of all the support I have given to a few on council and the work against some complainers who I now understand had it RIGHT, ALL ALONG! Sorry Roger, Mike and the others, You were right all along and it is now very apparent that I was wrong and will never support Linda of Charles again! I do hope the Mr Duman votes no and tells it all why!
