IT AINT FAIR

Coincidental? My neighbor  reports a fifty dollar increase in his Charter costs and then they went off the air for several days. Perhaps it was deliberate so he would more appreciate the programming when it came back on. A more important  event would be the city finding some competition for Charter. Is one cable company to choose from a smart way to go?  We were victims in Suffolk when the power  went off for several days and we  were forced to pay $3.53 per gallon of gas to run generators or see freezers full of expensive  food go bad.  While residents on King's  Fork lost no power or cable. Is it really those holes in the ozone?

Charter threw out my cable (actually before the hurricane), my computer internet and my phone for three days while simultaneously sending me a rate increase similar to the one you quoted.

Where's the City committee that was supposed to monitor the cable monopoly? I hope I don't have to complain directly to the "people's mayor," Mr. Duman, who seems to be the only effective and responsive member of the Council.

Sorry but but this falls into costs that the home owner is facing. The new mercury hazarodous light bulb that Obama is forcing on us via of his buddies at GE, you know that company that had 8 billion in profits who paid no taxes, the same company who shelved their wind power business unit to China??? Will at Walmart that light bulb 40 watt is selling for $15.44 each..
