This Easter Sunday we had the traditional colored eggs with a twist. We used brown eggs with politican's names written in bold colors. I haven't enjoyed cracking eggs more.
I've got one that'll make you laugh; "It's a good time to be in Suffolk". Oh yeah?!
Today we read in our hometown newspaper of a reporter that is completely unaware and apparently blind to the obvious cause of her car being coated pale green. One wonders if she is as remiss reporting the facts in her man bites dog stories. We read about the school board at war with city council over the location of an un-necessary school for a mere 90 students. Our little girl Ms. Seward amazingly pulls millions out of thin air (our savings) to fund the city's 460 million dollar budget. Past city budgets were stated as cut to the bone. What did Ms. Seward do, pull a hat out of a rabbit? The Obici Healthcare Foundation is undeservingly praised by another dependent for the multi-million dollar monument to their ego on North Main Street while the home of their sole benefactor continues to deteriorate and collapse along the shores of the Nansemond. How many hundreds of thousands of dollars will the Tourism Office leach off of us this year?
You mean that the SNH doesnt have a reputation or repoters who have the ability to question and investigate? Wheww, I guess the mayor, council and other city agencies are breathing a sigh of relief. Including the DA's office.
