FINALLY A CHARTER SCHOOL ????

It’s a chance for a failing school to become a Charter School. All the Elephant’s Fork Elementary School has to do is accept Federal Funds. The DEA is about to hand Virginia nearly $6,000,000 to turn around its lowest achieving schools. For Elephant Fork the deal comes with choices between hiring new personnel to closing it. A more sensible choice would be to become a Charter School.

"Elephant’s Fork is a Tier III school — meaning it has failed to meet adequate yearly progress under the No Child Left Behind program for two years, but has not been identified as a persistently low-achieving school. But it is about to be.

The SNH new article about this subject contained an error. Our candidate for the Shool Board, Debra Wahlstrom,Ph.D, has pressed the writer for a correction.

A Charter School in Suffolk will be hard sell. Remember this is the People's Republic of Suffolk and Commisar Liverman is not about to let lose his grip on any part of his empire. Elephant's Fork has been an annual mess and parent's should be demanding answers. However there is also the demographic consideration of; Thou shall not speak against thou fellow brother or sister even if your children's future welfare is at stake. Remember there is always programs like affirmative action to pave the way with a free ride through college and a fat government paycheck.

I like the picture for this Post however it is missing the right quotas for Black and Hispanic. Please ensure these races are always displayed to the observer and they are shown in greater porportionate numbers than in reality. The occasional Asian, Native American, Subcontinent Indian or Middle Easterner may be interspersed but only after the primary two races have been clearly featured. Optional individuals shall include cross dressers, trans-sexuals and obvious gays. Should you fail to do so the media will call the publisher an insecure, racist, bigot, homophobe.
