THIS OFFSETS OBAMA'S RHETORIC ABOUT HEALTH CARE

"Politicians can throw rhetoric around about 'bringing down the cost of health care' or they can even throw numbers around. But the numbers that politicians are throwing around don't match the numbers that the Congressional Budget Office finds when it analyzes the hard data. An old advertising slogan said, 'Progress is our most important product.' With politicians, confusion is their most important product. They confuse bringing down the price of medical care with bringing down the cost. ... Nothing is easier than for governments to impose price controls. They have been doing this, off an on, for thousands of years -- repeatedly resulting in (1) shortages, (2) quality deterioration and (3) black markets. Why would anyone want any of those things when it comes to medical care?" --Hoover Institution economist Thomas Sowell

I can't imagine what Zero said to the gentleman from the Congressional Budget Office sarc.
I think of the movie Clear and Present Danger where at the end Harrison Ford is taken to task by the president. The president reminds Ford who he is and gets reamed buy this mans ego. In the end Fords tells the president, "I cant do that Mr President, I dont dance." Hmmmm I wonder if, if new numbers come back out contradiciting what they previously reported that Obama's numbers dont match up, then I guess the head of the CBO did dance and Obama wins by Chicago style backroom politics. But in this case the entire country knows there was no back door meeting. Obama is getting brasher everyday and the country pay's the price.he continues to remind us at every chance, "I am the President,I won" but its not about me.

My face dropped hearing about a tax on botox and plastic surgery as the latest proposal to fund Obamacare. Looking at the faces in the House and Senate it doesn't stand a chance of passing.

This Healthcare Bill hr 3200 will be a disaster,it will be a gov't HMO which will lead to healthcare rationing and elderly people will be denied life-saving treatments.Call your Va reps and tell them not to support this Gov't plan.

The whole campaign to "reform" health care is built on lies, evasions and not-so-clever misrepresentations. Videos now circulating on the Internet betray in plain language the president's ultimate game. "I don't think we can eliminate employer coverage immediately," Mr. Obama tells a campaign audience. "[There will be] some transition process." In another video, Rep. Barney Frank is out of the closet and up on the rooftop: "I think if we can get a good public option," he says, "it would lead to single-payer - that's the way to get single payer."

So far, the campaign against health care "reform" is an unorganized movement from the grass roots, fueled by common sense. The insurance companies are playing "the inside game," spending a million dollars a day on lobbying and spreading money around. That's the kind of argument Congress finds persuasive, but more powerful stuff is on the way. Fear of the angry voter is the ultimate argument clincher on Capitol Hill.
